You’ve studied, registered, and finally just finished taking the NSCA Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist exam. Now how long do you have to wait until you receive your CSCS test results?
With the new Pearson Vue test taking centers, you will receive your results immediately after completion of the exam. You should be given a printed sheet for each of the two sections with your results.
The most important thing to do is make sure you have submitted all prerequisite documentation before taking your examination. This will prevent any delays in receiving your actual certificate from the NSCA. These requirements include your collegiate transcript with proof of a bachelor’s degree or higher, and proof of and up-to-date CPR/AED certification from one of the allowed organizations. These documents can take weeks to process, so it is best to send them in to get verified as soon as possible.
After you have passed both sections of the exam and had all of your required documents verified, you should receive your actual certificate in the mail within 6-8 weeks. For any other questions on preparing for the exam, check out this CSCS guide.
UPDATE: As of April, 2015, these exam options are no longer relevant in the United States.

As you can see, if you want to get your CSCS test results immediately, the computer-based option is the fastest option. For more information, visit the NSCA’s website.
