Scott Eastwood is one of the most talented young actors in film today.
While the Eastwood name was made famous by his father, Clint, Scott is making a name for himself as a leading man in a variety of films due to both his acting skills and his lean and muscular physique.
The Scott Eastwood workout routine below shows how the actor is able to get - and stay - in such great shape, regardless of the role he is taking on.
Eastwood incorporates a lot of variety into his workout routine. He doesn't just stick to the traditional training program of lifting weights and doing cardio. He includes plenty of unique exercise types, such as:
- Weight training
- Jiu-jitsu
- Yoga
- Surfing
- Paddle boarding
- Diving
This variety is a very important part of Eastwood's success. Lifting weights is important for building muscle, but staying active in other ways is also important. Eastwood stays active throughout the day, which means his metabolism is always humming.
Eastwood shared a little bit about what goes into planning out his workout routine in an interview with E News.
[To] me it's not one thing. To be really in shape, it's dynamic, it's got to be a lot of different everything, always switching it up. So a good day for me would be hit the gym, do some sort of cross training in the gym and then go surfing and then maybe take a jiu-jitsu class at night or go swimming at night or go stand up paddle boarding in the evening. So you're doing a lot of things with the body. You're not just, "Oh, I went to the gym and sort of half assed it."
This variety prevents Eastwood from getting bored when working out. People who repeat the same workout too much will quickly stall their progress. Constantly switching things up allows you to keep making gains on your build.
Working out only gets you so far if you don't have the right nutrition plan to go with it. A good diet is also an important part of Eastwood's program, as he shared in an interview with Yahoo Beauty.
I try to eat pretty well. I try to keep it simple: clean fish, clean meat, clean vegetables, and not a bunch of bread or other crap.
These foods are a solid foundation for any nutrition program. Lean protein sources, from quality meats and fish, and clean vegetables are important for any diet. The lean protein helps to build and maintain muscles mass, while vegetables are packed with nutritional benefits.
Eastwood's acting ability and build have earned him a number of roles as major films such as Fury, Suicide Squad, Fast 8, Live by Night, and as Luke Collins in The Longest Ride.
